Nee Venunda Chellam Full Story Explained (2006)

The movie begins with Kannan, a young man living in a Tamil neighborhood, who sees Geetha and instantly falls in love. Geetha lives with her father Viswanathan, a strict government employee. Viswanathan notices Kannan's interest in his daughter. He does not approve. He plays tricks to keep Kannan away from Geetha. He blocks every attempt Kannan makes to talk to her. Kannan feels frustrated but does not give up.

Meanwhile, another girl named Anjali lives in the same area. Anjali's uncle Ashok is a dangerous gangster. Ashok wants to marry Anjali himself. He beats up any man who tries to propose to her. Anjali is lonely and confused. She sees Kannan around and mistakes his friendly gestures for love. She tells Ashok that Kannan loves her. Ashok becomes furious and sends his men to hunt Kannan.

Now Kannan has two problems. He must dodge Viswanathan's tricks and escape Ashok's gangsters. Despite all this, Kannan manages to meet Geetha alone. He confesses his love to her. Geetha likes him back. They share a sweet moment. But Anjali finds out about their meeting. She gets jealous and angry. She decides to take extreme action.

Anjali kidnaps Geetha and hides her. She calls Kannan and gives him a choice: marry her, or Geetha stays locked. Kannan is heartbroken. He loves Geetha, but he must save her. He decides to fight. He confronts Ashok and his men. A big action sequence follows. Kannan fights bravely and defeats the gangsters. He rescues Geetha.

Anjali finally understands her mistake. She realizes Kannan never loved her. She lets go of her obsession. Viswanathan sees Kannan's courage and accepts him as a son-in-law. The film ends with Kannan and Geetha getting married. They smile together, happy and free. The message is clear: true love finds a way, no matter how many obstacles come.
