Full Plot

Vinayagam is a brave and honest man who lives with his four younger brothers in the town of Oddanchatram. The brothers are Murugan, Shanmugam, Kumaran, and Senthil. They are always getting into fights with local goons. A lawyer named 'Bail' Perumal helps them get out of jail every time. Vinayagam hates the idea of marriage. He believes that a wife will create disharmony among his brothers. He tells his brothers they can never get married. But secretly, each of the four brothers has a girlfriend they are hiding from Vinayagam.

One day, Vinayagam's childhood friend, District Collector Subbu, tells the brothers a secret. In school, Vinayagam had a crush on a girl named Koperundevi. He was not in love with her, but with her name. The brothers scheme to find another woman named Koperundevi. They believe Vinayagam will fall in love with her just because of her name. They find a beautiful woman named Koperundevi and introduce her to Vinayagam. At first, Vinayagam is reluctant, but he slowly starts to fall in love with her.

Vinayagam also has a clash with a local goon named Vanangamudi. He fights him to protect the village market. Vanangamudi tries to kill Vinayagam's brothers, so Vinayagam kidnaps his son. Aavudaiyappan was arrested and killed himself by jumping in front of a truck. Aadalarasu witnessed his father's death and swore revenge against Nallasivam.

Vinayagam challenges Aadalarasu and secretly fights off his goons to protect Nallasivam's family. But Nallasivam's granddaughter finds a weapon hidden under Vinayagam's jeep. Nallasivam is furious and orders Vinayagam to leave the village. Vinayagam is heartbroken. He feels he has lost everything. Aadalarasu escapes from prison and kidnaps Vinayagam's brother, Kumaran. Vinayagam fights through dozens of goons to save him. Nallasivam and his family arrive and see the truth. Vinayagam is brutally beaten but refuses to fall. He rises again and kills Aadalarasu. Nallasivam realizes Vinayagam is a true hero. He gives his blessing for Vinayagam to marry Koperundevi. The movie ends with a grand wedding where Vinayagam and his four brothers all get married.
