Kannamma(2005)
Kannamma is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by S. S. Baba Vikram. The film stars Meena in the titular role, with Prem Kumar and Bose Venkat in supporting roles. The story follows a wealthy medical student who survives an acid attack and falls in love with her rescuer. After his martyrdom, she faces a village council that questions the paternity of her child. The screenplay was written by veteran politician M. Karunanidhi, marking his return to film writing after a nine-year gap. The film received negative reviews for its outdated storytelling and amateurish direction. It was a box-office failure upon release. The soundtrack was composed by S. A. Rajkumar.

Storyline
A rich medical student named Kannamma is attacked with acid by her obsessed driver. A stranger named Anandan saves her, and they fall in love. After Anandan dies as a martyr, Kannamma is pregnant and accused of lying about the baby's father. She must fight a village council to prove her innocence and protect her child's future.
