Thotti Jaya is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by V. Z. Durai. The film stars Silambarasan in the titular role, with Gopika as the female lead and Pradeep Rawat making his Tamil debut as the antagonist. The story follows an orphan named Jayachandran who becomes a feared gangster in Chennai after learning that people respect those they fear. His life changes when he rescues a college girl named Brinda from pimps in Calcutta and falls in love with her, only to discover she is the daughter of his gangster boss. The film was produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu under the banner V. Creations, with cinematography by R. D. Rajasekhar and editing by Anthony. Storyline
An orphan named Jayachandran, found in a garbage bin as a baby, grows up believing that fear is the only way to earn respect. He becomes a ruthless gangster in Chennai, working for the powerful Seena Thana. When he rescues a college girl named Brinda from kidnappers, he falls in love with her. But Brinda is Seena Thana's daughter, and her father will stop at nothing to kill the man who took her away.
