Sandakozhi(2005)
Sandakozhi is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by N. Lingusamy. It stars Vishal, Meera Jasmine, Rajkiran, and Lal in lead roles. The story follows Balu, an engineering student who falls in love while visiting a friend's village and clashes with a local gangster. The film was produced by Vikram Krishna under G K Film Corporation. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music, and cinematography was handled by Jeeva and Nirav Shah. Sandakozhi received positive reviews for its action sequences and performances. It won Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for Best Male Character Artiste and Best Stunts. The film was a box office hit, running for over 210 days. It was released on 16 December 2005.

Storyline
Balu, a college student from Chennai, visits his friend's village in Chidambaram. He falls in love with his friend's sister Hema. But a brutal gangster named Kasi rules the town. When Balu humiliates Kasi in public, Kasi swears revenge and targets Balu's family. Balu must protect his loved ones and defeat the villain.
