Sound Party(2004)
Sound Party is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Aarthi Kumar. The film stars Sathyaraj as Kumaresan, a wealthy village landlord, and Prathyusha as Nandini, a poor medical student. Vadivelu, Manivannan, and Halwa Vasu appear in supporting comedic roles. The story follows Kumaresan's unrequited love for Nandini, whom he financially supports through medical school. Their relationship is complicated by a political rivalry between Kumaresan and local Panchayat president Govindan. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film Kottaram Veettile Apputtan. It received mixed to negative reviews from critics, who found the plot predictable and Sathyaraj's performance overly loud. The soundtrack was composed by Deva. The film was released in August 2004 after production delays dating back to 2001.

Storyline
A wealthy but lonely village landlord named Kumaresan secretly falls in love with Nandini, a brilliant poor girl who dreams of becoming a doctor. He pays for her entire medical education without revealing his feelings. But when her father arranges her marriage to his political enemy's son, Kumaresan must confess his love and face the consequences.
