Parthiban Kanavu is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by debutant Karu Palaniappan. The film stars Srikanth as Parthiban and Sneha in a dual role as Sathya and Janani. The story follows a marketing executive who falls in love with a stranger, only to discover she is the same woman his parents have chosen for his arranged marriage. Confusion arises when he realizes his wife has an identical look-alike. The film was praised for its engaging screenplay, strong performances, and Vidyasagar's music. It won seven Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, including Best Film. Parthiban Kanavu was released on 16 May 2003 and became a major commercial success.

Storyline
Parthiban is a young executive who believes in love, not arranged marriage. When he spots a girl at a bus stop, he falls for her instantly. But his parents fix his marriage to a woman named Sathya, who turns out to be the same girl. His joy turns to confusion when he discovers Sathya has an identical look-alike named Janani. Now he must choose between the woman he married and the woman he dreamed of.
