Trivia

  • The film's title 'Parasuram' is the name of a fierce warrior-sage in Hindu mythology, matching the protagonist's aggressive approach.
  • Director Arjun Sarja also played the lead role, continuing his trend of acting in his own directorial projects during that period.
  • The movie was shot in just 45 days, a notably short schedule for an action film in the early 2000s.
  • It features a cameo by actor-director R. Parthiban in a supporting role as a police officer.
  • The soundtrack by composer Deva includes a song filmed in Thailand, which was a popular foreign location for Tamil films then.
  • This was one of the earlier Tamil films to center its plot entirely on the theme of suicide bombing and youth radicalization.
  • Despite its action genre, the film had a limited theatrical release compared to other Arjun Sarja movies of the time.
