
Joot(2003)
Joot (also known as Joot: Are You Ready) is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by Azhagam Perumal. The film stars Srikanth as Eashwaran, a village youth who moves to Chennai with his ailing father, and Meera Jasmine as his love interest Meera. The supporting cast includes Vivek as the comic relief Siva, FEFSI Vijayan as the antagonist Aditya, and Murali as Eashwaran's father. The story follows Eashwaran as he discovers his brother Ganeshan is entangled in Aditya's criminal network. The film features action choreography by FEFSI Vijayan and a soundtrack composed by Vidyasagar. Critics noted the film's resemblance to earlier mass-market action films like Dhool and Dhil, but praised Srikanth's performance in his first action-oriented role. Storyline
