'Album' is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by G. Vasanthabalan in his directorial debut. The film stars newcomers Rajesh and Shrutika in lead roles, with supporting performances by Saritha, Prakash Raj, Vijayakumar, Balachandra Menon, and Nizhalgal Ravi. The story centres on two neighbouring families whose children, Jeeva and Viji, fall in love. It is best remembered for the chartbuster song 'Chellame Chellam', which marked Shreya Ghoshal's first Tamil playback recording. Storyline
Jeeva and Viji live next door to each other. Their families are close friends. Jeeva falls in love with Viji, but neither family knows. When their love is discovered, both families oppose the match. Jeeva and Viji must find a way to unite their families and win their blessing.
