The story follows Murthy, a man who takes the blame for others' crimes, who is hired to impersonate a wealthy man's son to save him from a vengeful killer. The film features songs by A. R. Rahman reused from his Hindi projects, while Sabesh–Murali composed the background score. Storyline
Murthy makes a living by going to jail for other people's crimes. When a wealthy ex-collector hires him to pretend to be his son, Murthy accepts because he loves the man's niece. But a vengeful killer is hunting the real son, and Murthy must survive the deadly game of mistaken identity.
