'Kangalin Vaarthaigal' is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Muktha S. Sundar. The cast includes Vikram, Sriram, Prema, and Karan. The story follows two best friends who fall in love with the same woman in a rural village. Their hidden feelings test their friendship and lead to a selfless sacrifice. The film is a remake of the 1996 Kannada film 'Nammoora Mandara Hoove'. Ilaiyaraaja composed the soundtrack, retaining all songs from the original. The film was released on 29 March 1998.
