Mahaprabhu(1996)
Mahaprabhu is a 1996 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by A. Venkatesh in his directorial debut. The film stars R. Sarathkumar, Sukanya, and Vineetha in lead roles. It follows Dhamu, a slum-dwelling young man who sells black movie tickets and fights for basic amenities. He falls in love with Maha, a college lecturer, but their happiness is destroyed by the corrupt politician Shanmugavel and his violent son Bhaskar. The story escalates into a brutal revenge saga after Dhamu's mother and lover are killed. The film was praised for its tightly edited action sequences and screenplay. It was released on 26 January 1996.

Storyline
