Krishna is a 1996 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Raja Krishnamoorthy. The film stars Prashanth, Kasthuri, and Heera in lead roles. The story follows Krishna, a college student who falls in love with Lizy, a girl who distrusts men due to past trauma. His best friend Tara secretly loves him, leading to a love triangle. The plot thickens when Tara is drugged and becomes pregnant by the villain Vikram, who frames Krishna. The film explores themes of trust, false accusations, and forgiveness. It was released on 7 June 1996 and emerged a commercial success. The music was composed by S. A. Rajkumar and released by Kamal Haasan.
