Storyline
Pandian, a jobless graduate, teaches poor villagers for free in a village ruled by the cruel Thupakki Gounder. When Gounder's educated daughter Bhavani returns from the city, she and Pandian clash at first but soon fall in love. Gounder opposes their relationship and uses violence to stop Pandian. Pandian must unite the villagers to defeat the tyrant and win his love.
