Manirathnam(1994)
Manirathnam is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. Jayabalan. The film stars Napoleon, Anand Babu, Mohana, and newcomer Chandini in lead roles. It follows Rathnam, a potter who refuses to sell his ancestral land near a village temple to a wealthy businessman. The businessman, Sivalingam, wants to build a factory and uses his mentally ill son's obsession with Rathnam's sister to pressure the family. The film explores themes of land rights, family loyalty, and the cost of standing up against corruption. It received a positive review from The Indian Express but failed commercially at the box office. The film was released on 2 November 1994.

Storyline
