Naan Pesa Ninaipathellam(1993)
Naan Pesa Ninaipathellam is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language musical drama film directed by Vikraman. The film stars Anand Babu as Viswanath and Mohini as Sandhya, with Vivek, Vizhuthugal Latha, and Anand in supporting roles. The story follows Viswanath, a poor street singer who sacrifices his education for his cousin Kaveri, only to be rejected by her after she becomes a famous newscaster. He later meets Sandhya, a woman betrayed by her wealthy fiancé, and together they rebuild their lives through hard work. The film's soundtrack, composed by Sirpy, features hit songs like 'Yalean Kiliyae' and 'Poonguyil Ragame'. The Indian Express critic Malini Mannath noted that Vikraman tried to bring freshness to the screenplay but succeeded only partly. The film was released on 9 July 1993.
