Storyline
Muthukaalai returns to his village after studying in the city and finds it ruled by the cruel headman Ambalam. When Ambalam orders his own niece Poochandu to become a temple servant, Muthukaalai marries her to save her. He must now fight Ambalam's power and the village's caste rules to protect his love.
