Ellai Samy(1992)
Ellai Samy is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed and produced by K. Rangaraj. The film stars R. Sarathkumar as the village chieftain Ellaichami and Rupini as Kaveri, with Nassar playing the antagonist Minor Muthurasu. The story follows a village guard who protects his people from a wealthy womanizer while dealing with a mysterious woman's rape accusation. The film features a soundtrack composed by S. A. Rajkumar. It was released on 11 September 1992 and failed at the box office. This was Rangaraj's last directorial effort for over 30 years until Konjam Kadhal Konjam Modhal in 2025.

Storyline
Ellaichami is the fearless chieftain of Nallur village. When a stranger named Kaveri arrives claiming she was raped, he promises to find the culprit. But his investigation forces him to make a terrible sacrifice that costs him his reputation and position. Meanwhile, a cruel landlord from a neighboring village plots to destroy him.
