Villu Paattukkaran is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Gangai Amaran. The film stars Ramarajan as Kalimuthu, a Villu Paatu singer, alongside Rani, Chandrasekhar, M. N. Nambiar, and Vikas Rishi. The story follows Kalimuthu's efforts to raise funds to rebuild a crumbling village temple while navigating love and conflict. The village head tasks him with the responsibility, and he seeks help from a sculptor and his daughter Abhirami, with whom he falls in love. Complications arise when the village head's son Chelladurai harasses Abhirami and her father insists she marry her cousin Rajasekharan. The film features a cameo by music composer Ilaiyaraaja, who also composed the soundtrack. Storyline
