Naadu Athai Naadu(1991)
Naadu Adhai Naadu is a 1991 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Ramathilaga Raajen. The film stars Ramarajan, Rupini, Rami Reddy, and Chitra in lead roles. Set in the Varikudi slum, the story follows Manickam, who returns home after 15 years to find his community oppressed by a caste-obsessed landlord named Mirasudhar. The landlord exploits the low-caste residents, pays them meagre wages, and holds their land through fraudulent bonds. Manickam organises the slum dwellers into a youth club and leads a resistance against Mirasudhar's tyranny. The film is noted for its strong social message about caste oppression and land rights. It was released on 14 January 1991 during the Pongal festival.

Storyline
