Parthiban as Pandian, a poor tailor, alongside Aishwarya, Saikumar Pudipeddi, Sreeja, and Charmila. The story follows Pandian as he rescues and shelters four strangers — a battered woman, a destitute singer, a kidnapped girl, and a jobless youth — while facing opposition from a wealthy rowdy named Jayabal. The film was shot primarily in Nagercoil and features music composed by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. Critics noted that the film tried to blend love, action, and drama but felt dated and slow. It was released on 14 January 1991 with a U certification.
