'En Rasavin Manasile' (1991) is a Tamil-language drama film directed by Kasthuri Raja in his directorial debut. The film stars Rajkiran and Meena in lead roles, with Raj Chander, Saradha Preetha, and Srividya in supporting parts. Set in a rural Tamil village, the story follows Mayandi, a rough village strongman, and his gentle wife Solaiyamma, whose marriage is shattered by a violent act. The narrative explores themes of fear, love, loss, and redemption as Mayandi struggles to understand his own emotions. Based on a real incident from the director's native village, the film was praised for its honest storytelling and strong performances. It completed a silver jubilee run in theatres and won multiple Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, including Best Film (Second Prize) and a Special Prize for Best Actor for Rajkiran. Storyline
