Jagadala Prathapan(1990)
Jagadala Prathapan is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language crime film directed by the composer duo Shankar–Ganesh in their sole directorial venture. The film stars Mohan, Rakhi Sri, and Divya in lead roles, with a young Sarath Kumar appearing as the antagonist Dileep. The plot follows Prathap, an honest man who discovers a map to a lost treasure and must protect his family from a ruthless gang led by John Frederick. The film blends action, family drama, and a treasure hunt narrative. It features a soundtrack composed by Shankar–Ganesh with lyrics by Vaali and Vairamuthu. The movie was produced by C. Murugan and released on 17 March 1990. It is notable for being the only directorial work by the famous music duo and for introducing actress Divya, who never appeared in another film.

Storyline
An honest young man named Prathap finds an old map leading to a hidden treasure. A violent gang, led by the greedy John Frederick, will stop at nothing to get the gold. When the gang kidnaps his sister, Prathap must fight alone against killers and a shocking betrayal to save his family and keep the treasure from falling into the wrong hands.
