Gundello Godari is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language adventure drama film directed by Kumar Nagendra. It stars Aadhi Pinisetty, Taapsee Pannu, Lakshmi Manchu, and Sundeep Kishan. The story is set in 1986 during the Godavari River floods. Two strangers, Malli and Chitra, are trapped in the flood and confess their darkest secrets to each other. The film is based on the novel Godavari Kathalu by BVS Rama Rao. It received positive reviews for its raw emotions and realistic characters. Lakshmi Manchu won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress – Telugu for her performance. The film was showcased at the Daring Independent Film Festival in Toronto. It was released on 8 March 2013.
