- The film's title 'Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde' is a popular line from the 1994 Telugu film 'Shubhalagnam'.
- Director Vijay Kumar Konda made his directorial debut with this film after working as an assistant director for several years.
- The movie was shot extensively in Hyderabad and also features scenes filmed in picturesque locations in Kerala.
- Actress Nithya Menen, who plays a key role, was reportedly approached for the part because of her natural acting style.
- The film's soundtrack by Anoop Rubens includes a song that samples a classic Ilaiyaraaja tune from the 1980s.
- It performed moderately at the box office but later gained a cult following through television reruns and digital streaming.
- A minor subplot involving a mistaken phone number was inspired by real-life mix-up stories shared by the writers.
