Madhumati(2013)
Madhumati is a 1958 Indian Hindi-language paranormal romance film directed and produced by Bimal Roy. The film stars Dilip Kumar and Vyjayanthimala in lead roles, with Pran and Johnny Walker in supporting roles. The plot follows Anand, a timber estate manager who falls in love with a tribal woman named Madhumati, but their relationship faces obstacles from a cruel Raja. The film was one of the earliest Indian films to deal with reincarnation and has a gothic noir feel. It won nine Filmfare Awards and the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. Madhumati was released on 12 September 1958 and became the highest-grossing Indian film of the year.

Storyline
Engineer Devendra discovers he has a past life as Anand, a man who loved a tribal woman named Madhumati. When the cruel Raja kills Madhumati, Anand seeks justice. Years later, a woman who looks exactly like Madhumati appears, and the past comes back to haunt everyone.
