The story follows Subramaniam, a widower who wants his son Karthick to study MBA, but Karthick dreams of becoming a cricketer like MS Dhoni. The film explores the conflict between parental expectations and a child's passion. It is a remake of the 2010 Marathi film Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho. The film received positive reviews from critics for its honest storytelling and strong performances. Ilaiyaraaja composed the soundtrack and background score. Storyline
A widowed father works hard to give his son a good education. But his son only wants to play cricket like his hero MS Dhoni. The father's pressure leads to a tragic accident. The son falls into a coma. The father must fight to save his son and learn to accept his dreams.
