Rebel is a 2012 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film written and directed by Raghava Lawrence. The film stars Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Deeksha Seth in lead roles. The story follows Rishi, the son of a village dictator, who loses his family to betrayal and embarks on a violent revenge mission. The film features an ensemble cast including Krishnam Raju, Mukesh Rishi, and Pradeep Rawat. Lawrence also composed the soundtrack and choreographed the dances, while S. Chinna handled the background score. Rebel received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the performances and action but criticised the plot and screenwriting. The film underperformed at the box office. It was released worldwide on 28 September 2012.

Storyline
Rishi is a happy-go-lucky music student who wants a peaceful life. But when his uncle betrays and murders his entire family, Rishi transforms into a ruthless avenger. He tracks the killers from his village to Hyderabad and Bangkok. He must fight powerful gangsters and face his own dark past to get justice.
