Dhamarukam is a 2012 Indian Telugu-language action fantasy film directed by Srinivasa Reddy. It stars Nagarjuna, Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj, and P. Ravi Shankar. The story follows Mallikarjuna, an atheist who loses his family to a demon attack and later discovers his destiny to destroy the demon Andhakasura. Lord Shiva appears as his friend Saambayya to guide him. The film blends mythology with modern romance and features over 70 minutes of visual effects. Chota K. Naidu's cinematography won the Filmfare Award for Best Cinematographer – South. Devi Sri Prasad composed the soundtrack. The film was a commercial success, grossing over ₹48 crore and becoming the highest-grossing Telugu film released in November. It was released on 23 November 2012.

Storyline
A man named Mallikarjuna loses his family to a demon attack. He becomes an atheist who hates God. He falls in love with a doctor named Maheswari. A powerful demon plans to sacrifice her during a solar eclipse. Malli must regain his faith and fight the demon to save the woman he loves.
