Midhunam is a 2012 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by Tanikella Bharani. It stars S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and Lakshmi as the only two on-screen characters. The story follows a retired teacher and his wife living in a village while their children reside abroad. The film is based on a best-selling Telugu novel by Sri Ramana. It won four Nandi Awards including Third Best Feature Film. Critics praised its world cinema quality and authentic portrayal of elderly romance. The film released on 21 December 2012 and ran for fifty days in theatres.

Storyline
Appadasu is a retired teacher living in a village with his wife Buchchi Lakshmi. Their children are abroad. Instead of feeling lonely, they treat every day as a celebration. They cook, argue, laugh, and love like young couples. But life tests their bond with small fights and memories of the past.
