Badhrinaadh is a 2011 Indian Telugu-language romantic action film directed by V. V. Vinayak and produced by Allu Aravind. The film stars Allu Arjun as Badri, a modern-day samurai trained by Guru Bheeshma Narayan, portrayed by Prakash Raj. Tamannaah Bhatia plays Alakananda, an atheist woman who falls in love with Badri. The story follows Badri's duty as the protector of the Badrinath Temple and his conflict between his vow of celibacy and his love for Alakananda. Kelly Dorji plays the antagonist Sarkar, Alakananda's cruel uncle. The film features music composed by M. M. Keeravani and cinematography by Ravi Varman. It was shot in locations including Hyderabad, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, and the Himalayas. The film received mixed reviews but won the Filmfare Award for Best Choreography for the song 'Nath Nath'. Storyline
A young shepherd named Badri is trained by Guru Bheeshma Narayan to become a samurai and protector of the Badrinath Temple. He meets Alakananda, an atheist woman who challenges his beliefs. As they grow closer, Badri must choose between his duty to remain celibate and his love for her. Her cruel uncle Sarkar plots to destroy them both.
