Gouravam is a 2013 Indian social thriller film written and directed by Radha Mohan. The film stars Allu Sirish in his acting debut alongside Yami Gautam, Prakash Raj, and Nassar. It follows Arjun, a city college student who visits Vennur village and discovers that his lower-caste friend Shanmugam has been killed in an honor killing after eloping with an upper-caste girl. The film critiques caste discrimination and honor killings prevalent in rural India. It was simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu and produced by Duet Movies and Prakash Raj Productions. The film released on April 19, 2013, with an estimated budget of ₹10 crore.

Storyline
