Yamagola(2007)
Yamagola is a 2007 Indian Telugu-language fantasy comedy film directed by Srinivasa Reddy. The film stars Srikanth, Venu Thottempudi, Meera Jasmine, and Reema Sen in lead roles. It is a remake of the 1977 classic of the same name starring N. T. Rama Rao. The story follows Satyam, a village president who is murdered by a landlord and whose soul journeys to heaven and hell. He challenges the gods of death and returns to life to fight injustice. The film is known for its satirical dialogues that critique political corruption and the Emergency period. It combines fantasy elements with social commentary and romance. Yamagola was released on 21 October 1977 originally, with the 2007 version updating the cast and production values for a new generation.

Storyline
Satyam is a kind village president who loves Savitri. But Savitri's father, the cruel landlord Rudrayya, wants Satyam dead. After being murdered, Satyam's soul goes to heaven and hell. He argues with Yama and gets a second chance at life. Now he must outsmart Rudrayya and win Savitri's hand.
