Shivakasi(2006)
Shivakasi is a 2006 Telugu-language action drama film directed by Perarasu. The film stars Vijay, Asin, and Prakash Raj in lead roles. The story follows Muthappa, a welder in Chennai who hides his identity after being framed by his brother Udayappa fifteen years earlier. When his love interest Hema demands he return to his family, Muthappa goes back to his village to confront Udayappa, who has become a cruel MLA. The film explores themes of brotherhood, forgiveness, and family loyalty. It was a commercial success and ran for 150 days in theatres. The film was originally made in Tamil and later remade in Telugu. It was released on Diwali 2005 in Tamil and dubbed into Telugu in 2006.

Storyline
Muthappa is a welder in Chennai who hides his past. He falls in love with Hema, but she refuses to marry him until he returns to his family. When he goes back to his village, he finds his brother Udayappa has become a powerful MLA who has destroyed their family. Muthappa must fight his own brother to save his mother and sister.
