Dharma(2004)
Dharma is a 2004 Indian Kannada-language action drama film written and directed by K. V. Chandrakanth. The film stars Darshan Thoogudeep, Sindhu Menon, and Manisha in lead roles. The story follows Dharma, an illiterate gangster who is challenged by a woman named Sindhu to write a poem in exchange for her house. As he learns to read and write, he undergoes a profound transformation from a violent rowdy to a sensitive poet. The film is inspired by the life of the ancient poet Valmiki. It was produced by Ramamurthy M G under his banner. The music was composed by Hamsalekha. Cinematography was handled by Sundarnath Suvarna. The film received mixed reviews from critics. It was released on 5 March 2004.

Storyline
