Arya is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language romantic action comedy film directed by Sukumar in his debut. It stars Allu Arjun, Anuradha Mehta, and Siva Balaji. The story follows Arya, a free-spirited boy who falls in love with Geetha, a girl already dating the college bully Ajay. Arya selflessly helps Geetha and Ajay elope, but Geetha later discovers Arya's true love. The film was a commercial success, grossing ₹31.1 crore worldwide on a ₹4 crore budget. It received positive reviews and won several awards, including Filmfare Best Director for Sukumar. The film is considered a breakthrough for Allu Arjun and has a cult following.
