Trivia

  • The film's title is inspired by a popular Tamil song from the 1990s, linking the story to themes of nostalgia and change.
  • Director Rahul Akshith reportedly wrote the script based on observations of young athletes in Chennai's local cricket academies.
  • Key scenes were shot at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, a rare permission for a debut filmmaker.

  • A minor subplot involving a medical college festival was improvised by the actors during the workshop phase.
  • The film's original score uses a traditional nadaswaram motif to contrast the modern urban setting.
  • Principal photography wrapped in just 42 days, with much of the schedule taking place during actual monsoon season.
