Storyline
A trans man tries to navigate everyday life in a world that often doesn't understand or fully accept him. He faces quiet struggles along the way—awkward situations with people who don't see him for who he really is, moments of feeling out of place, the weight of being different. But there are victories too, sometimes small and sometimes bigger: genuine connections with people who truly get him, moments of feeling genuinely accepted, and the gradual realization of his own strength.
“Finding himself in a world that sees someone else.”

- The movie was shot entirely on location in a single Mumbai neighbourhood to capture authentic daily life.
- Lead actor Vihaan Samat reportedly spent months interacting with trans men to prepare for his role.
- The film's title 'Iss Taraf' translates to 'This Side', subtly referencing the protagonist's perspective.

- The script was developed from real-life anecdotes shared within the trans community during workshops.
- Cinematographer Pratham Khurana used natural light almost exclusively to create an intimate, documentary-like feel.
