Trivia

  • The film's title 'Chaar Diwaari' is a play on words, referencing both the four walls of a temple and the Hindi slang for a close-knit group of friends.
  • Director Abhishek Vijay insisted on shooting all street food scenes on location in Jaipur's old markets, using real vendors and their recipes.
  • The character of God was written to never be named as a specific deity, allowing the performance to represent a universal divine figure.
  • Several scenes feature background art by local Jaipur miniature painting artists, a craft highlighted in the film's story.
  • The film's score incorporates traditional Rajasthani folk instruments like the khartal and morchang, played by regional musicians.
  • Lead actor Sameer's bicycle was an original vintage model sourced from a Jaipur collector and used throughout the entire shoot.
  • A key scene where God and Sameer discuss memory was filmed in one continuous take lasting over seven minutes.
