Bhalevadivi Basu is a 2001 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by P. A. Arun Prasad. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in a dual role, alongside Shilpa Shetty, Anjala Zhaveri, and Prakash Raj. The story follows a small-time thief who assumes the identity of a deceased forest officer to protect the officer's family and stop wildlife smuggling. Produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the Sridevi Movies banner, the film was intended to shift Balakrishna's image from action hero to family hero. It received negative reviews for its weak script and lackluster climax. The film was not commercially successful. Music was composed by Mani Sharma.

Storyline

A small-time thief named Prabhu meets an honest forest officer named Sagar. After Sagar is killed by a corrupt official, Prabhu takes his identity. He must protect Sagar's sick mother and sister while stopping a wildlife smuggling ring. But the villain Banerjee is determined to destroy everything.
