Trivia
- The film's title is a direct homage to the 1997 Telugu film 'Vyjayanthi IPS', which also featured a strong female police officer character.
- Director Pradeep Chilukuri stated the core conflict explores the grey area between a mother's duty as an officer and her love for her son.
- The character name 'Pathaan' for the antagonist mirrors a trend in recent Indian action films of using the name for formidable foes.
- The production designed a key action sequence involving a moving train, requiring precise coordination with railway authorities for filming.
- This is one of the few Telugu films where the protagonist's mother, not a romantic interest, is the central female character driving the plot.
- The climax was reportedly shot over 25 nights in a specially constructed set to control lighting and atmospheric effects.
- Early promotional material highlighted the 's/o' (son of) in the title to immediately establish the mother-son dynamic as the story's heart.
