Trivia

  • The film's director, Haritha Gogineni, is also a trained classical dancer, which influenced the movie's visual rhythm and movement.
  • The mental asylum scenes were shot in a real, decommissioned hospital building to add authenticity to the setting.
  • Actress Anjali, who plays Sindhu, reportedly did not use a body double for the physically demanding escape sequences.
  • The film's score uses a rare traditional Telugu folk instrument called the 'Ghatam' to create unsettling sounds.
  • It was originally planned as a bilingual project in Telugu and Tamil, but the Tamil version was later shelved.
  • The movie's climax was reshot after test audiences found the original ending too ambiguous.
  • A key prop, an antique mirror used in the asylum, was sourced from a collector of vintage items in Chennai.
