Prematho Raa(2001)
Prematho Raa is a 2001 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film directed by Udayasankar and produced by T. Trivikrama Rao under Vijayalakshmi Art Pictures. The film stars Venkatesh and Simran in lead roles, with Suresh, Prema, Murali Mohan, and Sujatha in supporting roles. The story follows Chandu, a wealthy playboy who tricks a girl named Geeta into falling in love with him, then abandons her. His actions destroy his brother's wedding and force him to confront his selfishness. The film was the second collaboration between Venkatesh, Simran, and Udayasankar after the successful Kalisundam Raa (2000), but it failed at the box office due to a weak screenplay and predictable plot. The music was composed by Mani Sharma. The film was later dubbed into Tamil as Kadhal Galatta.
