Trivia
- The film was shot in just 16 days during the COVID-19 pandemic, using real lockdown restrictions in the story.
- Director Ram Abbaraju also wrote the story, basing it on real-life wedding challenges he observed during lockdowns.
- The lead actor, Sumanth Shailendra, is primarily known as a dubbing artist and this was a rare lead film role for him.
- The movie's title directly translates to 'Wedding Feast', which is ironic as the plot revolves around avoiding that very expense.
- It was released directly on the OTT platform Aha, skipping a theatrical release due to the pandemic.
- The comedy heavily relies on the lead character's exaggerated stinginess, a classic trope given a modern, pandemic-era twist.
