Trivia
- Narappa is a remake of the 2018 Tamil film Asuran, which was based on the novel Vekkai by Poomani.
- Venkatesh Daggubati, who plays Narappa, lost significant weight and darkened his skin for the role to portray a much older, weathered farmer.
- The film was shot extensively in the dry, rocky landscapes of Rayalaseema to authentically capture the rural setting of the story.
- Director Srikanth Addala, known for family dramas, took a sharp turn into this intense, violent revenge genre with Narappa.
- The movie's climax and several key scenes were filmed in a specially constructed forest set to control the challenging outdoor conditions.
- Priyamani, who plays the female lead, reprised her role from the original Tamil version, making her performance familiar to fans of Asuran.
- Despite being a remake, the dialogue and certain cultural elements were adapted specifically for the Telugu-speaking audience's context.
