Storyline
A curious girl from a Mumbai neighborhood tries a menstrual cup for the first time. Because the topic is so taboo, she feels she can't talk to anyone about her experience. This leaves her alone with her worries, and a difficult situation starts to feel much bigger in her mind.

→Trivia
- The film was shot in just 10 days on a very small budget, using real locations in Mumbai.
- The director, Smriti Thakur, has said the story was inspired by real conversations with friends about menstrual cups.
- The lead actress, Aanchal Sharma, was a newcomer and had to perform many scenes alone in a confined bathroom.
- The film's title 'Jane' is a common Hindi filler word, hinting at the unspoken nature of the topic.
- It was released directly on a streaming platform, bypassing Indian cinemas, which helped it reach a wider audience.
- The movie uses minimal background music to keep the focus on the main character's internal anxiety and silence.
- Some of the props, like the specific menstrual cup, were chosen after consulting with gynecologists for accuracy.
