Trivia

  • The film is an official adaptation of Paula Hawkins' novel, but it shifts the setting from London to London and New York, with a key part set in India.
  • Parineeti Chopra lost a significant amount of weight and altered her look to portray the alcoholic, troubled protagonist Mira.
  • This was director Ribhu Dasgupta's second thriller after 'Te3n', and he chose to use a non-linear narrative to build suspense.
  • The train sequences were filmed on real moving trains in the UK to add authenticity to the voyeuristic scenes.
  • The film's soundtrack includes a song by A.R. Rahman, marking a rare collaboration for a Hindi thriller.
  • It received mixed reviews, with some critics noting its departure from the source novel's setting and pacing.
  • Aditi Rao Hydari, who plays the 'perfect' wife Nusrat, performed her own scenes in the water without a body double.
