→Trivia
- The film's title 'Kadaknath' refers to a rare Indian breed of black chicken known for its dark meat, which is central to the plot.
- Director V S Shivan originally worked in Tamil and Telugu cinema before making his Hindi debut with this film.
- The movie was shot primarily in a single large house to maintain the farcical confusion of characters crossing paths.
- It features veteran actor Annu Kapoor in a key role, marking one of his few comedy performances in recent years.
- The plot uses mistaken identity, a classic comedy trope, to comment on modern issues like skin color bias and online marketing.
- Despite being a Hindi release, the film includes subtle nods to South Indian family dynamics and wedding customs.
- The black chicken breed shown is real and is considered a delicacy in parts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
