→Trivia
- The film was shot entirely in a single apartment to create a feeling of claustrophobia.
- Director Arkish Aftab is also a trained cinematographer and operated the camera himself for several key scenes.
- The lead actor, whose character spirals into alcoholism, reportedly drank only apple juice on set to mimic the look of whiskey.
- The movie's title is a metaphor for the protagonist's deteriorating mental state, not just a literal pest problem.
- It was filmed in just 18 days on a very tight budget, using mostly natural light.
- The unsettling score uses everyday kitchen sounds, like knife sharpening and dripping taps, to build tension.
- The film had a very limited theatrical release but gained a larger audience after streaming on an OTT platform.
